It was wonderful to see so many parents attending Parents’ Evening this week to discuss your children’s learning and progress. Thank you to the Friends of Ravenswood (FOR) for organising the free school uniform for families. The FOR regularly set this out in the school playground for parents to access.

 

   

For the past few weeks, girls from our Year 5 cohort have been attending special science sessions alongside pupils from other schools. During these sessions, they have been learning about pioneering female scientists – did you know that Marie Curie is the only scientist to have won the Nobel Prize twice? The children have also taken part in a range of exciting practical activities, and this week they explored the fascinating topic of DNA.

 

                                                             Eid Mubarak     

Eid will be taking place next week, and we have already received some requests for a on day religious absence. If your child will be absent from school to celebrate Eid, please remember to submit the request through the school app so that we can record the absence correctly. We hope that all families celebrating have a wonderful Eid and enjoy this special time together.
