Robinwood:
This week, some of our Year 5 children went on their residential visit to the Robinwood Activity Centre near Alston in Cumbria. Over the three days they took part in a range of exciting and adventurous activities and all of the children I have spoken to said they really enjoyed themselves - despite the weather!

Roman Day:
This term, Year 3 have been learning about the Romans and so on Wednesday, they took part in a Roman Day! There were fabulous costumes (from staff and children alike) as well as feasts, formations and battles!

Easter Egg Decorating Competition 2026:

A reminder that the Easter Egg Decorating Competition takes place next week.
Please see below from the Friends of Ravenswood:
We are egg-cited to announce this year’s egg decorating competition!
You can decorate your egg any way you would like to, or send in a picture of a decorated egg, to win a prize.
Entries cost £1, and money raised will go towards feeding the new school chickens!
Please bring your decorated eggs into school from Monday 30th March. There will be a prize per year group, and the winners will be announced on Thursday 2nd April. Please make sure to include your name and class on the entry.
This year there is also going to be a category for parents and teachers, so if you are feeling creative, please send in your own entries as well!
We can’t wait to see all the egg-cellent entries!
